Petition Stop the Closure of West Cumberland Hospital

The closure of West Cumberland Hospital in Whitehaven is imminent. The maternity unit & others are affected. It is 30 miles to Barrow & 40 miles to Carlisle Hospital. It has been reported that patients have died in transit to either hospital. How can the NHS justify this.

They have built a new hospital at the rear of the old West Cumberland Hospital but are now closing certain sections down. The new MP for Copeland needs to fight this closer & back the people of Whitehaven. I urge you to sign the petition & stop the closure of the only hospital within a 30 miles radius.
