Rejected petition Supply free sanitary products to girls under 18

I saw a BBC news report today and I was appalled that girls are missing days at school because their cash strapped familly's can barely afford to put food on the table let alone buy these basic hygene necessities for female children. In this day and age in this country this should not be happening!
