The recent terror attack in London involving colleagues from the Metropolitan Police and other members of public as injuried parties and fatalities, has highlighted the sickening practice by the media of publishing and displaying stills and videos of injured and fatally wounded victims.

The recent news covering the London terror attacks showed the victims, three of whom were fatally wounded, on national news and worldwide media led social media channels. The displaying of people injured or deceased is unnecessary and obscene, intrudes on that individuals privacy, causes long term stress and leads to unnecessary panic within the public realms. No family should have to see their loved one injured, suffering or deceased on national news. This should be a banned practice.
