Rejected petition Add SEPSIS to the Syllabus guidance set out by HSE for ALL first aid courses.
An NHS England report suggests in 2014, more than 123,000 people suffered from SEPSIS, and it estimates around 37,000 people die from it in England each year.
Sepsis is widely missed, and relatively unheard of leading to several catastrophic mistreatments or delays.
More details
We seek to add SEPSIS to the First Aid Syllabus guidance for ALL courses, which is set out by the HSE. The overarching aim is to make the early signs and symptoms more common knowledge, leading to more efficient and timely treatment of this serious condition.
