Petition Stop female hygiene products being called luxury items and end the "tampon tax"

Despite promises to remove the 5% VAT on sanitary products for women (the "tampon tax") in March 2016 it appears this still hain't happened. Throughout their lifetime the average woman spends £18450 on menstruation. £725 of this is tax. This is asking to end the VAT on all sanitary products.
