With the EU & in particular, Spain currently eyeing Gibraltar as a bargaining chip in the Brexit negotiations, it is proposed that the UK government formally invites Gibraltar to join the UK and encourage a referendum on the rock, asking her people if they wish to join the UK before Brexit.
