Rejected petition Prevent Post Brexit British Armed Forces integration into an EU defence force.

Boris Johnson recently announced post-Brexit British Armed forces are to be offered for integration into the Defence Apparatus of the European Union on terms "Closer than a third country"
This will betray British voters who voted Leave to stop the ambitions of the EU to appropriate our Forces

Why was this petition rejected?

It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

There is currently no EU Defence Force and the Foreign Secretary didn't announce plans to integrate the British Army into a possible future EU defence force, so we're not sure what action you'd like the Government or Parliament to take.

You can read about the Foreign Secretary's comments in context here:

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
