Closed petition Force the Government to fully fund the RNLI

in Britain we are one of the few countries that do not fund the Royal National lifeboat Association and it is a scandal that we have to donate to something that should be provided as a government funded service.

I was recently told by a lifeboat crew member that the service costs about £160m a year to finance, this is a a tiny amount when you look at government spending on say consultants, why are we allowing this travesty to continue.
