Closed petition Enable an ESA - Emotional Support Animal to be recognized as an Assistance Dog

Closed on

I am wanting ESA (Emotional Support Animal) Service Dogs to be allowed to be recognized as an Assistance Service Dog along with Blind Guide Service Dogs. They should be allowed into restaurants/pubs/etc as they help people like myself who have Mental Health Issues/Mental Health Disabilities.

I have panic attacks in my home and in public places. After I rescued Summer they aren't as bad or as common. When she knows something is wrong, she runs to me, sits down&begins licking me. The dog I rescued now helps with something I had to face several times a day. I need her with me in public places, just like others who need a Service Dog with them, we need to recognize ESA Service Dogs as Assistance Dogs too.
