Closed Make it mandatory all processed meat products carry a Government health warning

In 2015 the World Health Organisation classified all processed meat products as group 1 carcinogens after extensive studies proved them to be a known cause of colorectal cancer
To date the Government has not acted responsibly and failed to make this information widely known to the general public.

We would like to see a proper campaign to enlighten the public of the health risks if they are consuming these products, starting with making it mandatory to include a Government health warning on the packing of all processed meat products and removing all processed meat products from schools.
