Rejected petition Stop tattoo, hair colour and piercing discrimination. NOW.

I am a strong believer that having tattoos and piercings are a persons individuality and it does not affect the way a person performs within the workplace. It is not how the book looks..but what is inside that matters.

More details

Stop judging people. And start realising potential and the way a person works for you doesn't have a signature look. Everyone has a right to be different.

Many people I know have had to give up their individuality because of workplaces "policies" and with more and more people finding they want to explore their looks it's time employers realised this is not affecting them in the slightest.

Why was this petition rejected?

It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, you could start a new petition asking Parliament to make it illegal to discriminate against people with tattoos and piercings, if that's what you'd like to happen.

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
