In justifying a 3-line whip on the motion calling for a referendum on Britain's membership of the EU the PM and his colleagues claimed that they were already working to repatriate powers from Brussels. The House and the country deserve to be told what powers the Government is seeking to repatriate and the timetable for doing so. A Commons debate detailing the Government position and strategy is therefore urgently required.
