Closed Make it a criminal offence for 2 people to travel on a Moped.

I want to change the law to stop 2 people travelling on a Moped.
The reason for this is to stop Criminal Offences including Acid attacks, Mobile phone snatching, Handbag snatching etc...
This will not affect Motorbike riders.

As we have seen on the News headlines these crimes are often carried out by 2 people on a Moped where the passenger is spraying Acid or snatching personal items from pedestrians. This will allow the Police to stop, search and charge these criminals before they commit these serious offences.
This Law will not affect Motorbike riders who are generally older and using Motorbikes for genuine travelling.
