Closed petition Demand For Tougher Action Against Moped Crime

Members of the public are becoming increasingly concerned and frustrated as to how moped crime is being dealt with. We want the government to take action. Moped crime (theft and acts of violence carried out on stolen mopeds) is increasing at an alarming rate. The government must act now

We the public want the authorities to issue police with greater power and resources in tackling this crimewave.
Allow the police to pursue these thugs without fear of causing harm or injury to the criminals
Implement a task force and better resources in dealing with the escalating moped crime
Afford police the time and resources to process evidence handed in by members of the public that would assist in any investigation
To provide secure fixing points for motorcycles and mopeds in the city
