Closed Introduce a 5p tax on all disposable takeaway cups.

The UK uses approximately 2.5 billion takeaway cups a year. Most are un-recyclable. This is a huge amount of waste. The 5p bag tax reduced carrier bag use by 85%, from 7 billion to 500 million a year. Introducing a similar tax for disposable cups would reduce another source of waste.
