Closed petition Lower the age restriction on smear tests to allow women under 25 to be eligible.

- Sexual activity is legal from the age of 16, therefore so should smear tests
- Some women go for their first smear test at 25 & are having some sort of minor procedure which could have been resolved years prior.
- Our health doesn’t have a start date for complications, it can happen at any age!
Below is reference of a case where a woman wasn’t taken seriously on her symptoms.
If your old enough to engage in sexual activity; your old enough to be taken seriously with any health symptoms & concerns you may have.
The cervical cancer injection is powerless on its own, however with the age of the smear tests being lowered I think it would be effective.
