Over 55% of those in the care system end up in the prison system, are vulnerable for human trafficking, prostitution, drugs, alcohol abuse and teenage pregnancy, plus, 40% of care leavers are not in education, employment or training at age 19 compared to 11% of the general population.

75% of children in care live in Foster Homes costing the Country £1.5 Billion, however, 25% of children in care who live in Children's Homes costs the Country £1 Billion (2012-2013) on average £133,000 - £148,000 per child per year, yet it will cost a parent approximately £25,000 - £30,000 per year to send their child to a top boarding school to receive the best education money can buy, and those that attend boarding school don’t end up in prison.
