Closed petition Make it illegal for discrimination of those with non-offensive visible tattoos.
Closed on
Times are changing, and we as a country have to change with them. Many workplaces can and will choose to discriminate against those who have visible tattoos. Non-discrimination is a cross-cutting principle in international human rights law.
Article 1 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights: “All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights".
Article 10 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights: "The right to communicate and express yourself in any medium, including words, pictures and actions".
Two of our Basic human rights that employers violate. Discrimination against Race, Gender, Age, Sexual Orientation & Disabilities have all been addressed, now we should address the discrimination of visible body art.
