Rejected petition Give Springwatch, Autumnwatch & Winterwatch a weekly slot between the seasons

We spend months waiting for ‘The Watches’ to return to our screens.

There must be a slot in the TV guide to allow a weekly episode between the three 1-2 week long specials.

I propose that in addition to the current format, a weekly episode should occur.

It’s about something that the UK Government or Parliament is not directly responsible for.

The BBC is an independent body governed by a Royal Charter. Under the terms of that Charter, the BBC is operationally and editorially independent of government and there is no provision for the government to intervene in the BBC’s day-to-day operations.

You could write to the BBC to make this suggestion.
