This petition asks the government to create a new criminal offence called
'Causing suffering for a sadistic cause'.
The act will cover all cases in which somebody deliberately physically or mentally harms a person in an unprovoked attack and then gets pleasure from their reaction/ suffering.

The crime will have a maximum sentence of 5 years imprisonment and will be classed in 3 rungs.

Rung A - max 5 years custody
Performing mental torture or depraved acts for a sadistic cause.

Rung B - max 2 years custody
Harming someone's mental or physical health in order to gain pleasure.

Rung C - max 6 months custody
Getting pleasure from the reaction or suffering of a person who has been mentally or physically harmed.
