Across the country, roads are in a dangerous state of disrepair. Many signs are dirty, broken or obscured by foliage. Road surfaces are badly potholed. It's likely that this neglect has contributed to deaths and injury. Clearly highway maintenance urgently requires a significant increase in funding.
