The NHS is one of our key British Values.
A NHS Day holiday in the summer would serve to underscore our deep admiration for all of those who work in the health and emergency services. With events celebrating its formation, those that serve and events to promote health and community.
The NHS is, if anything, one of our key British Values. Given this, is it not time to truly celebrate the NHS!?!?
This would allow a focus of public opinion and need for such a critical part of who we are as a nation, showing the world that this is who we are and what we hold dearest to our hearts. If ever there was a time to show how strong we all feel about the NHS it's now. What better way to do that than a public holiday focused around celebrating this bedrock of our society!
