Closed Guard those with health problems from malicious messages (epilepsy/ strobe GIFs)

People with health conditions have to take precaution in everyday life, however, if they are specifically targeted via social media or message then there is nothing place to protect them against this. We, the undersigned, call on the Houses of Parliament to review this and make necessary changes.

On 5th February 2018, a person posted a Strobe GIF to an epilepsy group leaving several people ill and one in hospital. Her profile states that she is based in the UK. People in the UK have been to the police regarding this. The police have wanted to do something about this but current UK legislation does not cover this, it does not even fall under "malicious communication".
