Closed Reinstate AS levels for sixth form students (aged 16-18) in the UK

As of 2015, the AS level (examined in Year 1 &2) has been removed in place of a ‘linear Alevel’ structure (examined Y2) - How are students expected to retain all 2 years worth of content whilst completing UCAS, working, doing extra curricular activities and maintaining their mental health ?
