Closed There should be centrally funded, free, total and complete care for the elderly

I want to free the elderly from the huge burden of trying to fund their own care at the end of their lives.

I want to free the local authority from the burden of trying to fund care of the elderly when they do not have the money
I want to free the families from the burden of having to make up any shortfall in funding in order to give their loved ones the complete care they need
I want to see some meaningful return for the taxes we have paid throughout our working lives
Finally, it is the mark of a civilised nation that the state safeguards and has a duty of care towards the elderly: the most vulnerable In our society
