Rejected petition Make training for teaching students with ADHD & other extra needs compulsory.

My recent adult ADHD diagnosis made me understand the stress I, many other classmates & our teachers encountered during schooling.

I believe nationwide, mandatory & regular teacher training for teaching students with ADHD & other extra needs, would make it easier for children, parents & teachers.

More details

It is stated in the ""ADHD: Paying Enough Attention report", that "39% of children with ADHD have had fixed term exclusions from school" & "11% of excluded children with ADHD have been excluded permanently."

Such early experiences, can have an impact upon later life. Another statistic reads:

"49% of male & 33% of female sentenced prisoners were excluded from school."
