Rejected petition Make MP’s salaries proportionate to the average UK salary.
MP’s salaries continue to increase at an above average rate. The salary of MPs should some how relate to the quality of life the public experiences. By linking MP salaries to the average UK wage an incentive to do a good job for their country will be created.
