Closed petition Not introduce photo Identification to vote.

Closed on

Bromley is taking part in a Voter ID "PILOT" at the Local Council Elections on 3 May 2018. This means that Bromley voters must produce ID to vote at a polling station. They will be asked to show one form of photographic ID from a list which includes a passport, photo driving license. BBC

My grown-up children do not directly pay bills. Only 2 drive, my partner and I do not, and this is the case for many people. I don’t see why anyone should have to apply for a passport as it will soon be a less useful document and/or may not be going abroad. Many will not be able to afford one putting a price on the right to vote. Nor should they be left waiting for one to enable them to exercise their democratic right
