On the passing of Stephen Hawking establish a day on which to honour him and all the nation's mathematicians and scientists (eg Newton, Halley, Babbage, Lovelace, Somerville, Berners-Lee etc etc); to fall within UK Science Week; coinciding with Pi Day. .

A public holiday to be observed on the 14th March, a day given to discussion, deliberation, display and development of science and to encourage involvement and understanding by all
