Closed Release the 'Implementation Unit Report on Shale Gas' (2016) immediately.

We, the undersigned, demand that the above report is published unredacted to allow full scrutiny of all relevant issues by The Communities and Local Government (CLG) Select Committee inquiry into fracking, and to inform the public consultation on the draft National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF).

In response to FOI requests by Sir Kevin Barron MP for this secret report to be made public, the Cabinet Office acknowledged that “decisions ministers make regarding fracking may have a significant impact on the lives of citizens.” However, the government refuse to publish this report on the grounds that doing so “could call into question the industry’s viability." We believe the public has a right to know what the government is withholding from the public. Read more here: https://goo.gl/Wbsg1r
