Closed petition First Aid education should be mandatory in all schools.

Too many people die and suffer unnecessarily because the majority of the population-myself included- don't know basic first aid.
I've never been in a situation where my actions could result in the difference between someone living or dying-thankfully- , and although I should have already undertaken a first aid course, to my shame I haven't. However, if it was something ingrained into you from an early age, there wouldn't be the need to pay to undertake such a course?..
