Closed Make it illegal for ticket resales to be more than 10% of Face Value

Today, May 1st 2018, we waited patiently to buy one of 90,000 tickets available for a London NFL game on Ticketmaster. Within the space of five minutes, they were sold out and available on other sites such as Viagogo for more than four times their face value.

For example, we have paid £170 each for tickets which, through Ticketmaster, should have cost us £41 each. This is not just making a profit, this is theft. It is taking advantage of people who are desperate to see their idols, to experience something for the first time ever, who have worked exceptionally hard towards.
