Rejected petition UK government must respect MSPs rejection to EU Withdrawal Bill
Rejected on
Members of the Scottish Parliament have rejected the UK governments Brexit, because it represents a 'power-grab' in devolved powers. So, I would call on the government to work with all the devolved of the UK governments and respect what our MSPs voted against.
Theresa May had also said this afternoon, that voting to stay part of the United Kingdom was the democratic will of the Scottish people, but voting to remain in the EU was also our democratic will too. So now, the government must listen to what the people really want.
