Rejected petition Change the England Football Team's national anthem to "Jerusalem"

The lack of English ethnic identity within Britain holds back the potential of English spirit.

An example of this is our football national anthem being the same as Britain's. The passion needed for players to rise to occasions would be better galvanised by an anthem special to England

It has already been changed for athletes in the Commonwealth games so it would be a perfectly logical move for the England football team (among other teams) to follow suit.
