Petition Using a mobile phone whilst driving change to a 6 month ban and £1500 fine

The current law of a few points and a small fine is no real deterrent
On a daily basis I see people in traffic queues on phones
It should apply too whenever the engine is running (sat in traffic )
Bluetooth systems are very cheap so no excuse to text or call with your hands off the wheel
