Rejected petition Require employers to pay dads taking time off with a new child the same as women

Currently, employers can offer enhanced maternity pay to their female employees whilst offering their male colleagues no uplift to the statutory rate of pay for taking shared parental leave.

Women&men will only achieve equality in the workplace if we support both equally to afford the time off.
