All Genetically modified organism (GMO) food, or animals given GMO food or drugs and land or water treated with GMO substances must be given a health warning to say that they have been fed, grown or used in manufacture.

Not enough is know about these products, France has proved they cause cancer. With just a little knowledge these products can cause irreversible damage to our ecology system like tobacco did over time to the human body. If they are grown in the open they can kill insects, bees and other animals.

It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.
In the EU (including in the UK), foods must say on their label if they contain or consist of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) or contain ingredients produced from GMOs. This means that all GM foods, including flour, cooking oils and glucose syrups from a GM source, have to be labelled as GM. We're therefore not sure what further action you'd like the UK Government or Parliament to take. You can find out more information here:

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do - for example, you could call for a UK-wide ban on imported GM foods or ingredients.
