Closed Make law to link all new vehicles' EMS to their Sat-Nav, to limit their speed.

Vehicular Sat-Nav systems already receive data relating to the speed limit of a vehicle's location, and should be connected to each one's EMS, so it can automatically limit its speed.
• Emergency vehicles would be exempt (for obvious reasons)
• A criminal offence to circumvent the technology

In 2013, the UK suffered 3,064 accidents attributable to speed, in which people were either killed or seriously injured. The technology now exists that can make the roads safer.
