Closed petition Bring in free bus pass concessions at age 60 in England.

Closed on

Free bus travel is available to people from aged 60 in Scotland, Wales and Northern ireland
The date at which you can apply for a bus pass in England is state pensionable age (currently 2023) if you are now age 60. This is geographical discrimination.

A Senior Railcard is available to anyone aged 60 or over. There should be no distinction in age for a concession on bus or rail transport, or where you live in the UK. All transport concessions should be from age 60 regardless of where you live in the UK.
