Rejected petition Allow parliamentary proceedings to be broadcast freely and for comedic use
An article in the 2016 "Licence to use Parliamentary proceedings from the House of Commons for Broadcast" Law (Use of Signals - A ) inhibits the use of parliamentary proceedings to be used in "light entertainment". I believe this to in clear violation of free speech and inherently anti-democratic.
More details
Freedom of speech and expression is an integral part in the free and democratic society we live in, and this parliamentary law prohibits this and is anti-democratic in it's nature.
It states: "no extracts of Parliamentary proceedings may be used in any light entertainment programme or in a programme of political satire".
I campaign for this clause to be removed or amended in the accord of maintaining free speech in the free and democratic United Kingdom we live in.
