Rejected petition Make it illegal to deny children vaccinations, except for medical reasons
The Anti-Vaxxer movement is growing despite originating from a disgraced individual who doctored his research. To this day there is no scientific link between vaccinations and autism or any other medical issue. Therefore I propose that childhood vaccinations become illegal to deny to your child.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. We're not sure exactly what you mean by "I propose that childhood vaccinations become illegal to deny to your child."
At the moment, there are rules about giving consent for medical treatment. For people under 16, someone with parental responsibility may have to give consent for their medical treatment. You can find out more about this here:

We're not sure whether you would like vaccinations to be given to children without parental consent, or whether you would like there to be a penalty for people with parental responsibility if a child is not vaccinated. We're also not sure who you would like to decide on any medical reasons that might make someone exempt from this requirement.
