Closed Extend paternity leave to at least 4 weeks so fathers can bond with their child.

Being a father and being there for your new born baby is so important at the early stages of life, to bond and make that connect this needs to happen early on in a baby's life, also helping your partner out with the night and day duties taking some of that pressure off the mother.

How can men and women truly be treated equally if the father only get 1-2 week paternity leave and the mother gets up 26 weeks with full pay and 26 weeks additional weeks half pay depending on the company. This is such a serious matter and should be looked into carefully in the best interest of the baby and parents no matter the sex.
