Closed Make it illegal for Holiday firms to increase prices in school holidays

Parents who take children on unauthorised term-time holidays cannot escape fines and criminal records.
The right to affordable holidays is being taken away by the system.

Thousands of parents arround the country face a choice each year. Do they take their children out of school to go on a cheaper holidays. Holiday prices during the School term are significantly cheaper than when taken during official school holidays.
The government should look to ensure holidays during official holiday periods are affordable for all.
Safeguards should be legally put in place to prevent holidays firms over-inflating prices during key holiday periods.
