Closed Ban food waste food away require companies to give it to people who need it

Many companies around the UK throw away waste food at the end of the day away. This needs to stop and the food should be given to people who need it the most, for example homeless people.

In 2016 France banned food waste and made it compulsory for supermarkets to donate unsold food to charities. The UK government should enact a similar law.
