Closed Change the UK voting system to a legal requirement to increase voting turnout

Making voting a legal requirement will increase the turnout, making more uk citizens happier with the results. Currently, only 60% of the registered voters take part, which leaves 40% unhappy with the turnout as that have not cast a vote. We would like to change this and make voting compulsory.
