The US decision further destabilises the Middle East and make the possibility of a peaceful solution more remote. It shows further partiality in favour of Israel following moving its embassy to Jerusalem and increasing aid to Israel

UK should urge other countries to help making up the shortfall

UNWRA provides food aid and education to Palestinian refugees and this loss of funding will cause immense suffering and misery.
