My petition:

A new petition calling on the Government to set up a scheme to support banks and building societies to offer 100% mortgages.

I find it terrible that people can’t get on the housing ladder. People can pay more in rent than others do who pay a mortgage. Let’s make it law that the Government set up a scheme to support banks and building societies to offer 100% mortgages to people who it can be shown can afford the monthy mortgage payment.

Governments under all colours have failed those who want to aspire to provide a loving and constant home environment for their children.
