Closed Demand the Government clarify the legal status of Windrush Generation

The British Nationality Act 1948 created the status of "Citizen of the United Kingdom and Colonies" allowing the Windrush Generation to stay in the UK as Citizens, if their status has changed please clarify which act changed this, if not publicly state the Windrush Generation are all citizens.
