Closed petition End Equal Opportunities Question about your race when applying for jobs

Closed on

When applying for a job vacancies in the UK the employer always state that they are an equal opportunity employer and you are required to state your ethnic minority group. Now this give the employer the opertunity discriminate against prospective employees the election process.

People from ethnic minority groups are being discriminate against whilst applying for job vacancy online In the pre selection process by employer. The question about stating what ethnic minority group you are from should be omitted from online application forms all together. If you are applying for a job that you are qualified for the question about your race shouldn't be of importance to the employer for selection. I applied for the same job with the same details but change my race from one to next and recieve a call the following day.
