Closed Remove the requirement of mandatory religious acts in public schools.

The Independent quotes (06/12/15) "under exiting laws, school have a statuary duty to ensure pupils take part "each school day in acts of worship."

The article states "While faith schools are permitted to hold acts of worship in accordance with their religious character, in secular schools the worship must be wholly & mainly of a Christian character."

In Wales and England pupils are able to opt out, but they still sit and watch.
